WIMS-sponsored Faculty Development Workshop
This WIMS-sponsored Faculty Development Workshop will address the use of formative assessments that provide ongoing feedback regarding student learning. These classroom assessment techniques range from simple exercises such as "one-minute papers" and "muddiest point" to more elaborate activities involving the use of student response systems and peer instruction.
Many of these strategies can be applied to a range of classroom sizes, both in and out of the traditional classroom.
